Understanding the Patient Dashboard

The Patient Dashboard is the main workspace for one patient. Use it to open the patient's profile, appointments, clinical records, forms, medications, transcripts, and care team.

Open a patient's dashboard

To open a patient:

Select Patients from the main menu.
Search for the patient or use the available filters.
Select the patient's name.

The patient list stays open on the left so you can move between records without returning to the main Patients page.

Use the dashboard sections

The dashboard is organized into two main sections:

Patient Information shows the patient's personal details, profile actions, Insights, and appointment options.
Medical Data & Care Team contains clinical documentation, uploaded records, forms, medications, transcripts, and assigned clinicians.

Select a tab or action to open the information you need.

Viewing and editing patient information

Use the top of the Patient Dashboard to review patient details, update the profile, open Insights, or start an appointment.

Review patient information

The dashboard shows the patient's name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and PrecisionMind Patient App status.

An App Downloaded badge means the patient has downloaded the app. Otherwise, the invitation or app status may still be pending.

Add or edit tags

Select Edit Tags to add, update, or remove tags from the patient's profile. Tags can help your practice organize patients.

View or edit the full profile

To update patient information:

Select View Details .
Review the patient's demographic, contact, emergency contact, address, payment, insurance, diagnosis, and EHR Summary information.
Select Edit at the bottom of the profile.
Update the available fields and save your changes.

Note: Information received from an external electronic health record (EHR) or health information exchange is read-only. This can include historical diagnoses, medications, and family history.

View patient Insights

Select View Insights to review the clinical insights and trends available for the patient.

Create an appointment

Select New Appointment in the upper-right corner of the dashboard. You can schedule a future appointment or start one now.

Schedule a future appointment

Select the option to schedule the appointment for later.
Choose the appointment type, date, time, and other required details.
Save the appointment.

PrecisionMind sends the applicable confirmation and reminders based on the patient's notification settings.

Start an instant appointment

Select Instant Appointment .
Choose Telehealth or Onsite .
Select Start Instant Appointment .

A Telehealth appointment creates a meeting link for you and the patient. An Onsite appointment creates a clinician workspace where you can take notes and, when enabled, record and transcribe the visit.

Important: Before transcribing an appointment, confirm that the patient provided any consent required by your practice and applicable law.

After transcription, PrecisionMind saves the transcript in the patient's Transcripts tab and creates a clinical note after the visit.

Understanding Insights and health indexes

Use Insights to review a patient's health metrics, progress, and engagement over time. Insights can help you notice trends and prepare for clinical follow-up.

Open Insights

From the Patient Dashboard , select View Insights .

Review progress

Progress Tracking shows how the patient's health metrics have changed over time. Use it to review trends and consider how the patient is responding to treatment.

Review risk information

Risk Assessment highlights possible clinical risks based on the available data, trends, and predefined thresholds.

Use this information to identify areas that may need closer monitoring or follow-up.

Important: Insights support, but do not replace, your clinical judgment. Review them with the patient's complete record and your clinical assessment.

Review engagement and support

Engagement shows information about the patient's participation in assigned activities and care recommendations.

Support System summarizes the social and clinical support resources available to the patient.

Use Insights for care planning

Care Planning brings together information that may help you prepare for appointments, update treatment goals, and identify areas that need attention.

Tip: For a more complete picture, review Insights with notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other information on the Patient Dashboard .
