Message indicators
Use messaging for non-urgent communication
PrecisionMind messaging is not for emergencies. Patients see a reminder to call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room for an urgent mental health crisis.
Tip: Discuss messaging boundaries and your availability with patients during intake.
Using messaging without the mobile app
Patients can activate their account and use secure messaging in the web portal. They do not need to download the mobile app.
Patients can also join telehealth appointments from an email link without activating an account. Account activation is required for secure messaging, self-scheduling, and completing forms.
