What AI scribes should and should not do in mental health care
Ambient documentation saves hours, but therapy has particular risks. Consent, review, and scope are where it lives or dies.

A scribe should draft, never sign. The clinician owns the record and every word in it.
Consent must be explicit, revocable, and captured in the chart before recording begins.
Keep the output structured and reviewable. A note that takes ten minutes to correct is not saving anyone time.
The standard we hold
AI assistance in PrecisionMind drafts inside your note template, cites the session content it drew from, and flags what it is unsure about. The clinician reviews, edits, and signs. Anything less would not be safe enough for this work.
